abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO AN IMPROVEMENT IN THE PROCESS FOR THE POLYMERIZATION OF A POLYMERIZATE CONTAINING AT LEAST 80% POLYVINYL CHLORIDE BY STABLE AQUEOUS MONOMER DISPERSION POLYMERIZATION, THE SAID IMPROVEMENT COMPRISING IN THAT AT LEAST DURING PART OF THE POLYMERIZATION A REFLUX CONDENSATION OF THE MONOMER IS EFFECTED. THIS PROCESS RESULTS IN FASTER POLYMERIZATION TIMES WITH BETTER CONTROL OF PARTICLE SIZE OF THE POLYMERIZATE.
