A sanitary disposable receiver for liquid and solid wastes, particularly for human wastes, is disclosed. The receiver is in the form of a sheet capable of being formed into a bag or pouch, which comprises a substrate of unbleached, nonporous, highly hydrated paper, preferably kraft paper, coated on at least one side with a hydrophobic surfactant. A tissue paper outer layer is glued, at its periphery, to the substrate such that an air space is left between two layers. The material of which the pouch is made can be made in sheets, rolls, or ready-formed. |
