THE SCRUBBER CONTAINS AN ALKALI OR ALKALINE EARTH HYDROXIDE, PREFERABLY CA(OH)2 OR KOH, WHICH EFFECTIVELY REMOVES BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE INTERFERRENTS FROM THE GAS STREAM, BUT DOES NOT EFFEXT THE OZONE IN THE STREAM.
