abstract OXAZINOBENZODIAZEPINES OF THE FORMULA II: 2-(R8-CH2-),3-R8,6-R7,7-(R6=),8-R5,12B-(R3,R4-PHENYL), R1,R2-6,7-DIHYDRO-4H-(1,3)OXAZINO(3,2-D) (1,4)BENZODIAZEPIN-4-ONE WHEREIN R1, R2, R3 AND R4 ARE HYDROGEN, LOWER-ALKYL, LOWER-ALKOXY, HALOGEN, -CF3, -NO2 OR -CN, WHEREIN R5 IS HYDROGEN, LOWER-ALKYL OR BENZYL, WHEREIN R6 IS OR LOWER-ALKOXY, AND WHEREIN R8 IS HYDROGEN, LOWER-ALKYL OR PHENYL, ARE PREPARED BY REACTING 5-PHENYL-3H-1,4BENZODIAZEPIN-2(1H)-ONES OF FORMULA I: 1-R5,2-(R6=),3-R7,5-(R3,R4-PHENYL),R1,R2- 1,2-DIHYDRO-3H-1,4-BENZODIAZEPINE WHEREIN R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 AND R7 ARE DEFINED AS ABOVE, WITH AN ACYL HALIDE IN THE PRESENCE OF A BASE OR WITH A DIKETENE.
