abstract In the flotation of copper sulfides; diisobutyl dithiophosphates, diisoamyl dithiophosphates and di(2-methyl-1butyl) dithiophosphates give a superior flotation rate, recovery and selectivity as compared with conventional dialkyl dithiophosphates, often permitting a coarser grind, and flotation of middlings, followed by a regrind ultimately resulting in a higher recovery of copper.
