A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ALKYLAMINOALKYL PENTACHLOROPHENYL ETHERS OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED GENERAL FORMULA WHICH COMPRISES REACTING AN EXCESS OF AN ALKALI METAL SALT OS PENTACHLOROPHENOL WITH A HYDROHALOGENIC ACID SALT OF AN ALKYLAMINOALKYL HALIDE OF THE FORMULA: X-A-N(-R1)-R2 . HX WHEREIN A, R1 AND R2 HAVE THE SAME MEANINGS AS DEFINED ABOVE RESPECTIVELY AND X STANDS FOR A CHLORINE OR BROMINE, IN A SOLVENT CONSISTING OF A LOWER ALKYL ALCOHOL OR DIOXIANE.
