abstract Liquid fuel injecting device for in particular a blast furnace comprising, in combination with the wind blowing nozzle and the tuyere, refractory elements arranged on a circle between the downstream end of the nozzle and the upstream end of the tuyere where they constitute the neck and divergent part of a Venturi structure, the convergent part being constituted by the nozzle. A liquid fuel supply conduit is carried by the nozzle and terminates in a sprayer disposed in the vicinity of and on the axis of the Venturi neck. Means are provided for imparting a gyratory motion to the wind blown by the nozzle.
