THE UNSATURATED POLYAMIDE RESIN CAN ALSO BE FURTHER MODIFIED BY REACTION OF THE CARBOXYL GROUPS WITH MONO- OR DI-EPOXIDE COMPOUNDS. HARDENABLE MIXTURES OF SUCH A RESIN WITH A COPOLYMERIZABLE MONOMER SUCH AS STYRENE. RESIN BODIES PREPARED BY HARDENING SUCH MIXTURES BY FREE-RADICAL POLYMERIZATION.
