abstract A graphene/polymer microsphere a modified chemical fiber filled with a multi-oriented graphene/polymer composite and a preparation method are disclosed. Graphene is coated by an in-situ suspension polymerization, which greatly improves the dispersion effect of graphene. Comonomers are used to increase the compatibility between graphene and polymers, so that a strong interaction between graphene and polymers is formed. The graphene/polymer microsphere with low melting point and high toughness is used to fill a chemical fiber, and is oriented therein to modify the chemical fiber. The graphene/polymer microspheres could be oriented to form a microfibril structure with a high aspect ratio in the chemical fiber.
