abstract The invention concerns a method for producing a beverage by dissolution of at least one soluble beverage powder with water in a beverage preparation apparatus, said apparatus comprising:—at least one chamber (1a, 1b) configured for receiving and mixing at least one soluble beverage powder with water to prepare beverage and for dispensing beverage to a drinking receptacle receiving area (10), and—a nozzle (4) for delivering a jet of water to the drinking receptacle receiving area (10), and said method comprising the steps of: a) preparing a beverage with said at least one chamber and dispensing said beverage inside a drinking receptacle (9) at the receiving area (10), the beverage forming visual layers inside the drinking receptacle, wherein said method comprises the step b) of jetting water through the nozzle (4) inside the drinking receptacle (9) at the receiving area after step a).
