abstract |
The present invention refers to a cell suspension comprising expanded autologous or allogeneic mesenchymal stromal cells derived from the bone marrow of a human subject, wherein said MSCs are suspended in the plasma fraction obtained from the peripheral blood from a patient or subject to be treated with the cell suspension, for use in the treatment or amelioration of a disease with cerebral impaired glucose metabolism, wherein said cell suspension is administered to the patient or subject via intrathecal (through an intrathecal administration), in particular by lumbar puncture. |
