The present invention relates to a compound having a triarylamine structure and being represented by the structural formula (A-1) below, where A, B, and C may be the same or different, and each represent a group represented by the structural formula (B-1) below, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, or a substituted or unsubstituted fused polycyclic aromatic group, where at least one of A, B, and C is not the group represented by the structural formula (B-1) below.
