A light emitting device contains an anode, a cathode, and two organic layer respectively containing metal complexes represented by formulas (1) and (2).M1 and M2 represent an iridium atom; n1 and n3 represent an integer of 1 or more; n2 and n4 represent an integer of 0 or more; Ring R1A represents a triazole ring; Ring R2 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring; E1, E2 and E11A to E13A represent a nitrogen or a carbon atom; R11A to R13A represent a substituent. At least one of E11A to E13A is a nitrogen atom, and at least one of R11A to R13A bonding to the nitrogen atom is a group represented by (Ar-1A). EL represents a carbon atom; Ring L1 represents a 6-membered aromatic hetero ring; Ring L2 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring; and A1-G1-A2 and A3-G2-A4 represent bidentate ligands.Ring A represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring with substituent R2. |
