titleOfInvention Apparatuses and Methods for Anesthetizing a Dental Patient
abstract Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for anesthetizing a dental patient during dental procedures such as a root canal. Administering an anesthetic directly into the jaw bone of a patient, called intraosseous injection, is highly effective but can have a relatively short duration. In addition, a dental dam is often placed over the tooth being treated in order to control the environment. The apparatuses and methods disclosed herein permit an anesthetic to be delivered multiple times to the dental patient without removing or disturbing the dental dam.
