Aspects of the methods include assaying the sample to obtain relative expression level data for each of CD14, CD16, and CD192 (CCR2) and quantitative expression level data for HLA-DR; and employing the obtained data to identify monocyte subsets in the sample. Also provided are compositions and kits for practicing embodiments of the invention. The methods and compositions find use in a variety of different applications, including therapeutic applications. |
