titleOfInvention An absorbent dressing incorporating ph wound condition indication
abstract The present disclosure describes a wound dressing with one or more integrated pH sensors. The pH sensors can measure the pH at different portions of the wound and dressing. The pH sensors can measure the pH of the wound and dressing at different intervals throughout the wearing of the dressing. The pH sensors can provide real-time feedback during wear time. In addition to providing indications of pH, the pH sensors can provide indications of the wound dressing's level of saturation. The pH sensors can be visual indications that the wound dressing is saturated with fluid and should be changed.
