abstract This endoscope system includes: a light source that emits toward an imaging subject a first excitation light having a wavelength in a first predetermined range of a non-visible light band and a second excitation light having a wavelength in a second predetermined range of a non-visible light band; an optical filter that blocks light having wavelengths in the first predetermined range and the second predetermined range respectively; a sensor unit disposed on the emission side of the optical filter, generating a captured image of the imaging subject excited by each of the first excitation light and the second excitation light and emitting fluorescence; and an output unit for outputting the captured image of the imaging subject to a monitor.
