titleOfInvention Methods, compositions and kits useful for ion exchange chromatography and mass spectrometry analysis
abstract The present disclosure relates to methods, compositions and kits useful for the enhanced pH gradient cation exchange chromatography of a variety of analytes. In various aspects, the present disclosure pertains to chromatographic elution kits comprising (a) a first aqueous buffer solution having a first pH and comprising a first organic acid salt in a first concentration and (b) a second aqueous buffer solution having a second pH and comprising the first organic acid salt in a second concentration, wherein the first organic acid salt comprises a first organic acid ammonium salt, wherein the second pH is greater than the first pH, and wherein the second concentration is greater than the first concentration. In various aspects, the present disclosure pertains to methods of using such aqueous buffer solutions in chromatographic separations.
