Cosmetic composition for blurring surface imperfections of skin |
abstract |
Disclosed is a cosmetic composition comprising: a) a particulate material comprising a shell and a core, where said shell comprises a water-insoluble material having refractive index (n s ) of 1.2 to 2.0 at 25° C. and wavelength of 589 nm and core comprises a fluid having refractive index (n) of at least 1.0 at 25° C. and wavelength of 589 nm and where oil absorption capacity of said particulate material is at least 300 g/100 g measured by ASTM D281-95 by Spatula Rub-out using linseed oil; and, b) particulate silicone elastomer having average particle diameter of 0.1 to 100 μm. wherein ratio of the amount of said particulate material to that of said particulate silicone elastomer is 1:3.5 to 3.5:1 parts by weight. |
