titleOfInvention Systems and methods for monitoring and managing cancer patients risk for acute care utilization and/or for improving treatment tolerability
abstract The present invention generally relates to system and methods for improving treatment tolerability for patients, for example, including remote monitoring by medical staff, tracking patient reported symptoms, and/or precision support interventions. Some aspects of the invention are generally directed to systems and methods for determining changes in a patient, and making recommendations based on such changes. For example, a variety of data representing conditions such as body weight, temperature, number of steps taken, etc. may be acquired, e.g., using a smartphone or a computer, and based on analysis of those data, one or more recommendations may be made to the patient. In some cases, the patient may also be provided with the recommended treatments, for example, a high calorie meal plan or meal supplements.
