abstract An authentication information processing method for an authentication information processing device including a processor and a memory includes acquiring an image, determining a base point representing a sweat pore on a ridge of skin from the acquired image, and acquiring position information. The authentication information processing method includes extracting a predetermined number of the base points whose distance from the central base point is less than a predetermined value and for which a number of troughs between adjacent two of the ridges of the skin positioned between the central base point and each of the predetermined number of base points is equal to or less than one, as peripheral base point. The authentication information processing method includes generating sweat pore-related information associating the position information of the central base point with attribute information, and causing the memory to store the generated sweat pore-related information.
