The invention relates to core-shell composite particles, wherein the shell is based on carbon and is nonporous and the core is a porous aggregate containing a plurality of silicon particles, carbon and optionally further components, where the silicon particles have average particle sizes (d50) of from 0.5 to 5 μm and are present in the core in a proportion of ≥80% by weight, based on the total weight of the core-shell composite particles. |
