A compound has a formula (I) R 1 -W m -X n -AA 1 -AA 2 -AA 3 -AA 4 -AA 5 -AA 6 -(AA 7 ) a -(AA 8 ) b -Y p -Z q -R 2 , its stereoisomers and/or its cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, wherein: AA 1 is Glu or replaced by Asp, Gln or Asn, AA 2 is Glu or replaced by Asp or Gln; AA 3 is Met or replaced by Leu or Ile; AA 4 is Gln or replaced by Glu, Asn or Asp; AA 5 is Arg or replaced by Lys; AA 6 is Arg or replaced by Lys or His; AA 7 is Ala, Ser, Gly, Thr, Pro, Glu, Lys, or Val; AA 8 is Asp, Glu, Asn, or Gln. In the compound, no more than two of AA 1 , AA 2 , AA 3 , AA 4 , AA 5 and AA 6 are replaced, a and b are 0 or 1; W, X, Y and Z are amino acids; m, n, p and q are each 0 or 1; and R 1 and R 2 are not amino acids. A method of skin treatment with the compound is also described. |
