abstract Recombinant or synthetic polynucleotide sequences comprising one Re-PAT gene identified as SEQ ID NO: 11 and two B. thuringiensis δ-endotoxin genes including Cry10A gene identified as SEQ ID NO: 12 and Cry11a12 gene identified as SEQ ID NO: 13, transformed in a mono/dicot plant, that are encoded to form a herbicidal and insecticidal toxin proteins in a transgenic plant, resulting in decreased resistance development against insecticidal toxins proteins and increased efficacy against the insect mortality, particularly pink bollworms and army worms. A method or an assay for detecting the presence of transgenic event Kalgin-4 based on the DNA sequence of the recombinant polynucleotide construct inserted into the genome of the transgenic plant and the genomic sequences flanking the insertion site.
