abstract |
An electric double-layer capacitor in which an increase in diffusion resistance of the anode with aging can be suppressed even when γ-butyrolactone is used for a solvent is provided. An electric double-layer capacitor includes an element formed by winding an anode foil and a cathode foil with a separator interposed therebetween and being impregnated with an electrolytic solution. An electrolytic solution contains γ-butyrolactone as a solvent. A strip width of the anode foil is larger than a strip width of the cathode foil, and the element is formed so that the anode foil is wound to protrude with respect to the cathode foil in a strip width direction. |
