titleOfInvention Optical measuring and scanning system and methods of use
abstract An optical measuring system for fitting spectacles to a subject and/or for diagnosing and/or monitoring ocular diseases and/or disorder in the subject, and methods of use thereof. The system includes at least one image capturing device for capturing at least one image of at least part of the face of the subject. The system also includes at least one movable mount for mounting the image capturing device in front of the subject and moving the image capturing device relative to the subject; and at least one processor operatively connected to the image capturing device for generating a three dimensional (3D) model of the at least part of the face of the subject. The at least one processor is also configured to determine, from the 3D model generated, one or more optical measurements of the subject.
