More specifically, the invention relates in part to compositions including a cell penetrating peptide (CPP) linked to an antisense polynucleotide complementary to a target sequence in an RNA expressed from an essential gene in an Erwinia species and methods of using such compositions to inhibit the growth of an Erwinia species on a plant. |
