abstract A watch-type terminal according to the present invention comprise: a main body; a band part connected to the main body and formed so as to be worn around the wrist; an electrode unit for generating a current by being disposed in one region among the main body or the band so as to make contact with the body of a user; and a control unit for calculating an impedance value on the basis of a voltage sensed by the electrode unit, wherein the electrode unit comprises: a first electrode member making contact with the wrist when the watch-type terminal is worn around the wrist; and a second electrode member exposed to the outside.
