Typically, the pill comprises at least first and second components with one component surrounding at least a portion of the other component. The pill may either be swallowed whole and in-tact, or in other variations, the second and/or third component may be bitten or broken off from the first core component and then chewed and swallowed prior to ingestion of the first inner core component.
