abstract The magnifying system ( 5 ) of the protective mask ( 1 ) according to the invention occupies a first more central portion of the visual field of the user with a minimum focussing distance equal to or less than 10 meters. The screen ( 3 ) covers the eyes of the user allowing a more peripheral vision. The screen ( 3 ) and the sealing system, together with other possible components of the mask, form a casing that completely encloses and isolates from the external environment the user's eyes and the area of the face adjacent to the eyes, forming a barrier that prevents solid or liquid projections such as, for example, solid fragments, splashes, drops or aerosol particles to penetrate into the mask ( 1, 1 ′) and reach the user's eyes.
