abstract A patient interface can have a first body that rests on a first portion of a face of a patient, a second body that rests on a second portion of the face of the patient, and a bridge linking the first and second bodies. The patient interface can have an attachment structure that couples with a complementary fixation structure positioned on the face of the patient to secure the patient interface to the face. The fixation structure can include an adhesive to adhere the fixation structure, and thus the attached patient interface, to the face. The fixation structure can have an edge that is shaped to reduce the tendency for the fixation structure to be lifted off the face when the patient interface is detached from the face.
