abstract A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes: a multilayer structure in which each of a plurality of ceramic dielectric layers and each of a plurality of internal electrodes are alternately stacked and are alternately exposed to two edge faces of the multilayer structure; a first external electrode that is coupled to one of the two edge faces; and a second external electrode that is coupled to the other of the two edge faces, wherein: a main component of the plurality of ceramic dielectric layers is BaTiO 3 ; the plurality of ceramic dielectric layers include a rare earth element; and an atomic concentration ratio of a total amount of Mn and V with respect to Ti in the plurality of ceramic dielectric layers is 0.035% or more and 0.120% or less.
