abstract The present disclosure envisages a polyherbal composition comprising the extracts of Curcuma longa, Camellia sinensis and Phyllanthus emblica for alleviating the symptoms and reduces the clinical progression of Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Further, the composition comprises at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient selected from the group consisting of microcrystalline cellulose, modified starch and maltodextrin. The present disclosure also envisages a process for preparing the poly-herbal composition for alleviating the symptoms of Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
