| abstract | A method of performing a sinus lift procedure comprising the use of a sidecutting drill as one step in the procedure. The sidecutting drill creates a circumferential lateral cut near the sinus floor, thereby allowing upfracturing of the sinus floor over a greater area than would otherwise be possible absent the circumferential lateral cut.
