A nucleic acid amplification device comprising a thermal cycler and a detector is capable of operating using a low operating voltage, such as 12 V. The nucleic acid amplification device may include a portable energy storage device that can provide operating power. The nucleic acid amplification device may be powered by a vehicle and deployed to remote locations. |
