abstract The present invention relates to a method for prognosing a risk of occurrence of a disease in a subject, comprising: a) determining respective values of a plurality of disease risk-factors for the subject; b) providing a database of individuals for whom the values of the plurality of disease risk-factors have been determined and the occurrence or not of the disease in the individuals is known; c) recoding each value of the plurality of disease risk-factors of the subject and of the database individuals on a same disease incidence scale; d) selecting, within the database, a number of individuals which are at the lowest Euclidian distance of the subject with respect to other individuals of the database, wherein the Euclidian distance is based on the recoded values of the plurality of disease risk-factors; e) determining the ratio of the quantity of selected individuals in whom the disease has occurred to the number of selected individuals, thereby prognosing the risk of occurrence of the disease in the subject.
