The loose wearable system may be operable to detect an electrical current signature from an ingestible device indicator system. The loose wearable system may store and/or access data on a remote system. The loose wearable system may comprise a wearable component configured to be removably worn, such as on a limb. The loose wearable system comprises a compartment and optionally a battery-powered electronics module configured to be removably attached to the compartment or a charging station for charging a battery within the wearable system.
