In the optical laminated body 1 including a substrate 2 and a patterning polarizing layer 5 that is provided on the substrate 2 and includes a plurality of polarizing regions 51 and 52 having different absorption axis directions, a substrate having the absolute value of the dimensional change rate after heating to 80° C. for 24 hours being less than 1% is used as the substrate 2.
