abstract |
A polymer composition is disclosed that contains a thermoplastic elastomer combined with an α-olefin and vinyl acetate copolymer and a flame propagation reducing agent. In one embodiment, the flame propagation reducing agent comprises fluoropolymer particles. The particles have an average particle size of less than about 20 microns, such as less than about 15 microns. In one embodiment, the composition is free of any traditional flame retardants. |
