titleOfInvention Microdermabrasion device
abstract The present application relates to a microdermabrasion device ( 1 ). The device has a suction path ( 11 ) along which skin fragments removed by the device are drawn, and a detection unit ( 3 ) configured to determine one or more characteristics of skin fragments drawn along the suction path. The detection unit is configured to determine the depth of abrasion performed by the device based on the one or more characteristics of skin fragments drawn along the suction path. The present application also relates to a method of determining the operating depth of abrasion of a microdermabrasion device.
