abstract A surgical implant for blocking neural regrowth following a surgical procedure is provided. The implant comprises a press, such as, for example, a clip, having a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is rotatable with respect to the first portion. The first and second portions each having an inner surface configured for engagement with tissue, such as, for example, a denatured nerve. A method of use utilizing the surgical implant is also provided.
