abstract In one embodiment, a method is provided for obtaining an extract from a cannabis plant for medical uses. In one embodiment, a method for obtaining an extract from a cannabis plant for medical uses is provided. The method comprises (a) providing cannabis flower trimmings with trichome material, (b) providing clean, cold water to at least cover cannabis the cannabis flower trimmings, (c) agitating the mixture of cannabis flower trimmings and water (d) soaking the cannabis flower trimming in cold water for at least one minute, (e) removing the trichome material from the water and (f) drying the trichome material to contain no more than 10% total water weight.
