abstract A medical tube and a medical tube assembly are disclosed which can enable an implant to be relatively easily and reliably inserted and placed to indwell in a living body. The medical tube can accept an elongated implant inserted in the medical tube. The medical tube can be composed of a tube which has a distal end opening where its distal end is open, and a proximal end opening where its proximal end is open. The tube has a curved section where an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the medical tube is curved and where the curved state is maintained.
