titleOfInvention Wound dressing containing polysaccharides
abstract A wound dressing makes use of polysaccharides, including the formation of a range of variable viscosity mixtures that use a solid polysaccharide such as medical grade cane sugar and a liquid polysaccharide such as honey, both of which have inherent beneficial properties for wound healing. The mixture is applied to an absorbent surface that is designed to absorb the mixed polysaccharide only partially.
