abstract A base system configured for use in an exercise or physical therapy by a user as a base, the base system includes a first segment and a second segment. Each of the first and second segments includes a portion of cylinder having a surface perpendicular to its central axis and a surface at an incline to its central axis. In forming a base, the first and second segments are arranged such that the second segment is rotatably disposed atop the first segment, where the angle of rotation of the second segment with respect to the first segment causes the resulting base to assume a certain incline.
