abstract This technology relates to a method of forming an aerated material for application to the surfaces of mines to minimize dust formation. The aerated material is comprised of rock dust and a foaming agent which is mixed with water, and when properly mixed and applied to a mine surface, creates a dry cellular structure with little caking.
