abstract The present disclosure is directed, in part, to a method of forming an absorbent article. The method comprises providing a nonwoven substrate comprising a plurality of fibers. At least some of the plurality of fibers comprise a plurality of fibrils extending outwardly from a surface of the fibers. The fibrils comprise a lipid ester having a melting point greater than 35° C. The method comprises incorporating the nonwoven substrate into the absorbent article.
