abstract |
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains 1% by mass or larger of a lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide represented by Li a Ni x Co y Mn 1−x−y O 2 (0.9≦a≦1.1, 0<x<1, 0<y<1, 2x≧1−y) as a positive electrode active material, and a positive electrode active material mixture layer contains 0.01 to 3.0% by mass of a molybdenum oxide (MoO z ; 2≦z≦3) with respect to the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery exhibits excellent charge-discharge cycling characteristics under high temperature even with high charging voltage. |
