abstract The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a pulverulent phase comprising at least one composite powder including titanium dioxide and magnesium oxide. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention is at least comparable in terms of cosmetic effects with conventional cosmetic compositions comprising a conventional composite powder including titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Therefore, the cosmetic composition is free of any potential problems which may be caused by zinc oxide which is commonly used in conventional cosmetic compositions.
