abstract Systems and methods for the use of mobile applications in patent portfolio management are proposed. In one example embodiment, a method includes providing or enabling a mobile application for a portable electronic device, the mobile application relating to payment of patent annuity fees and allowing presentation of an interactive user interface to a user. The method includes displaying, in the user interface, a cost projection for paying one or more patent annuity fees and allowing a user to select one or more of the displayed patent annuity fees for payment.
